August 7, 201213 yr Author Win XP AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4400+ 2.30GHZ 3GB RAM Your system is not capable to load the photo scenery fast enough. The processor is made in 2005 and 2006. These days processors are 3-4x faster. Perhaps you can gain a little from oc your processor to 3.0 Ghz, but I fear that the complete system can not keep up. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

August 7, 201213 yr Author That's what I thought :) Oh well, back to FS2004 then :) Any chance this scenery works with that? I really don't know as I only have FSX. What I know is that everything in FS2004 is about 20-40 meters off compared to FSX. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
August 7, 201213 yr Hi G Salden - I only just saw the message advising of your kind offer of Belgian scenery. I don't know how I missed it before, but as it was just a short time ago (August 7th) at the top of the Topics list, I tried the links - unfortunately (as your post suggests) they have expired. Is there any other way to download the Belgium scenery? Years ago I had a short holiday in Belgium and would like to tour the countryside and cities again - this time, from the air! Thanks for making your offer. I just wish I'd seen it before the 25th May. Ah well, cheerio anyway. Regards from Ian, in Australia.

August 7, 201213 yr Those files from Dominique Dziedziczak are included in the scenery. No need to download them extra. Thank you Gerard. I had already installed the file over my original install of Belgium 2012, the result is great! But to be sure i did download your latest files to, so i can try those to see if there are differences. So nice to fly above Gent at 1000 feet and see my house at the river the Leie! :yahoo: With kind regards, Bart S.

August 9, 201213 yr Hi Gerard and also Bart S. - Thanks very much for your kind assistance with the Belgium scenery downloads. I will get them soon, once I make some more space on my computer. Best wishes from Australia to you both. Ian M.
August 10, 201213 yr Hello mr Salden, I have downloaded and unpacked your 3 rar-files. In the resulting Belgium 2012 folder the scenery folder contains 94 items. The file Area_Lp2_SnapOff_N050410787_N050282146_E002500471_E003132712 is present twice, once with the rar and once with the bgl extension. There are no AFCAD files. In the actual scenery I see default textures in an area west of Gent, as mentioned also by other users earlier in this thread. In the east there are three gray areas (north of EHBK, at Vaals and along the Belgian-German border). Upon checking the rar-files I found they had the following content: Part 1 Belgium 2012 scenery 94 files texture 19.428 files Readme.txt Brussels HD scenery 5 files texture 601 files Readme.txt Part 2 Belgium 2012 scenery 54 files texture 19.428 files Brussels HD scenery 5 files texture 601 files Part 3 Belgium 2012 scenery 0 files texture 0 files Brussels HD scenery 3 files texture 601 files I couldn't detect any AFCAD-files in the archives. Is this as it should be or are the archives corrupted?
August 11, 201213 yr There are no AFCAD files. In the actual scenery I see default textures in an area west of Gent, as mentioned also by other users earlier in this thread. Is this as it should be or are the archives corrupted? Dirk, For the gray areas,i think you have also the NL2000 scenery, move the Belgium 2012 scenery in the scenery library below the NL2000 scenery and the gray Areas are gone,by me. In this up load there are no AFCAD they are in the previous up load. Your download is not corrupted. I have in the Belgium 2012 scenery 93 files and south of the border of Zeeuws Vlaanderen there is a small part of the scenery missing, there is the standard FSX scenery. If you want the AFCAD send me a PM with your e-mail address and i send it to you it's only 120 kb. Jan.
August 12, 201213 yr With Gerard's approval, here are the following contents. Belgium 2012 (includes Belgium 2012 fix : repairs textures not showing up in the Limburg area) Belgium Enhancement package Brussels HD http://www.sendspace.com/file/gul6hl http://www.sendspace.com/file/npyt8h http://www.sendspace.com/file/1bji6m http://www.sendspace.com/file/vs30do http://www.sendspace.com/file/9b5y32 http://www.sendspace.com/file/wmyot3 http://www.sendspace.com/file/r5zvtk http://www.sendspace.com/file/an1mys http://www.sendspace.com/file/xcyn4c http://www.sendspace.com/file/635o23 http://www.sendspace.com/file/dnklwt http://www.sendspace.com/file/n4uju2 http://www.sendspace.com/file/z2y7yx Just download these 13 files and then extract them with 7zip. That's an open source archiver. You can get it here. http://www.7-zip.org/ No installation needed. Other programs may be able to extract the files too. Just make sure to place them in the same folder before starting with the first file. That's the one called Belgium 2012.7z.001 whereas the others go up to Belgium 2012.7z.013. Just run 7zip and navigate to your download folder (with the 13 Belgium archives) and click the first archive. Then click 'extract' and choose the folder you like to extract to. Then wait a few minutes for the process to finish. Each part is 300mb in size, except for the last one. All 13 files sum up at 3.70gb. You don't need to sign up for downloading, just don't mind the ads and look for the download link. The scenery installation should be pretty straightforward. Just move the folders to a place on your disk and add them to the FSX scenery library. For adding the contents of the Belgium Enhancement package, just follow the included readme file. As a tip from another thread, make sure to have Brussels HD above Belgium 2012 Photo. When using NL2000 (freeware for the Netherlands), move Belgium below the Netherlands to avoid problems around Maastricht. The links will stay alive as long as someone downloads them within 30 days. So spread the word. :Peace: Hello, I have big trouble uncompressing these 7z. In fact, 7z is unzipping, and creates a last big 7z file that I'm unable to unzip. 7z Win 7/32 Tks for help
