Recommended Posts

Is it possible to install meshes of FSGlobal2005 in particular areas rather than the whole world? Thanks.

Hi,yes it is, it gives you the option to chose which areas you want to install, and later, if you change you're mind and want the rest, you just run the intelligent installer again, and through the FSGS Share file, it Will ask you which other ones you want to add.I have had this since it came out, and did a Review on it. fantastic add-on, and really brings the flying in FS9 to new heights,(pun intended) Mine is the FS Global SE,

Thanks, I'm waiting for my FSGlobal DVD to arrive yet. What is FS Global SE though? I purchased FS Global 2005, is it an update version?

I also have RealScene U.S. Terrain and Landclass for MSFS2004. How is it compared to the other 2 above? It is said in the readme that "All source digital elevation data is 30 meter spacing. The data is then resampled to 38.2 meters spacing (LOD 10). The land classification data is from the U.S. Geological Survey National Land Cover Dataset".When I get FSGlobal 2005 will it make sense to replace RealScene's U.S. coverage with the one from FSGlobal? I understand FSGlobal2005 is less resolution than RealScene being 74m?
