new to this have some questions

Recommended Posts

Ok, I bought the Aerosoft airbus bundle (318/319/320/321) and have been flying it quite a bit. I then bought FS2Crew, and got it installed,  played around a bit with it and couldn't get the microphone working, so I shelved it for a while.  I just started trying it out again and I seem to have the microphone working, but...

1) I have the config set up with AES on as I have GSX that I really like (so I don't have to guess a lot on the PB distance) but when I run the Preflight the jetway just sits there with the left front pax door open. I'm at an FSX default airport with a jetway. CTL J does activate the jetway, so shouldn't the jetway extend??

2) I see that this is version 3.0, is there a newer manual? Mine says it's version 1.3.

Thanks,

Mike

1. Are your CFG options set for using the Jetway on the FS2Crew CFG panel?  I'm guessing maybe not.

2. Makes no difference.  It's good practice to consult the Change Log posted in this forum for the latest changes.

ok thanks, just tried it with AES off jetway working fine now.

So if I leave AES off and select no pushback required, can I still use GSX, If I say at the end of the pushback, "Cleared to disconnect..."?
