To remove ai traffic from fs9 aircraft list (menu)?

Recommended Posts

Guest thors

I have heard of some program that can remove ai aircraft (or other) from fs9 aircraft menu (without losing the traffic from playing). Do someone know what program that is? I have heard that it can be downloaded from Avsim. Regards.Thordur SigurjonssonIceland

Thordur,I use aired.zip by William Roth. You have to change "aircraft type" from 0 to 1, I believe.John

AITM will also do the trick and it has many additional features.http://www.molitor-home.de/FS/AITM/If you use aired, which also will do the trick, change the aircraft from type from =0 to =2One nice thing about aired is you can make all of your .air files open with it.

I dont remember where I got it, but fs aircraft typer is the name of this program, it is great. select your fs location, see a complete list of your airplanes, and you can highlight and use the shift and ctrl keys to select multiple airplanes, go up to the menu and select "non flyable" click write, and youre done, they are now not listed in the menu! It definately sped up the loadingtime of the select an airplane menu as I have over a thousand AI airplanes

Interesting. I will have to look for that one. I am completely redoing my ai and I recently made all (all 8000 of them) of my ai aircraft viewable so I could hunt down aircraft that were not showing up properly. A program like that will help speed up the change back quite a bit.
