A feature missed in most of my flightsims...

Featured Replies

Custom controller settings for each aircraft, native with the sim GUI.

I know this is possible by saving configurations in MSFS, or through the use of FSUIPC profiles, but I miss this as implemented for instance in Rise of Flight and in Digital Combat Simulator.

It would be great if sim developers could make a controller profile assignable to a particular aircraft, or, at least, aircraft category - for prop, multiprop, rotary, jet...

The it is implemented in DCS Worlds looks to me by far as the best, more practical approach.

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

The only way I know how to do this without add-ons is thru the use of multiple FSX.cfg files. Each one points to a different xml controls file.

If you go this route as I once did a long time ago, would recommend at least the free version of SimStarter to manage it all. I think Orbx has a freeware product that could manage the cfg files as well.
