I might as well buy it 1. to see what it is all about and 2. so my opinions about it can't be disgarded so easily which of course would be a valid thing to do if I didn't own the sim. Sounds like a good rule: if you want to talk about FSW (or any sim for that matter) you need to own it.

I totally agree that`s why I don`t post on other flight simulator forums, with post like why you still using this pile of c##p you should move over to X,Y,Z sim, but you see it a often on MSFS forums. May 17, 20179 yr I am definitely all-in on buying FSW EA. I use FSX-SE exclusively now and I will put the new sim on a different HDD just to keep it segregated from the other. I am entering this EA with an open mind and tight wallet for now. I want to at least test drive it. Certainly P3Dv4 may garner my attention when and if it is released. I was so invested in FSX that I didn't want to transition until it was at least on a 64bit platform. Depending on how the FSW EA goes, I may be a while before I give P3D a shot. May 17, 20179 yr It's a good thing that FSW is free for purchasers of FS. If you check my Steam profile, you would see I spent over 100 hours on Flight School, testing the heck out of it before deciding that my absolute last word was that there was no there, there. It was a cheap purchase so, no real regrets, but I will say that if FSW had not been free, I would have been much more likely to watch from the sidelines for a few months, rather that race in eagerly like last time. Also my skepticism level will be just that much higher, after the release of TSW and FS. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... May 17, 20179 yr I'm prepared to invest $25 in this EA venture.. lets see what it delivers I recall that FSX was a disappointment day 1 - but it has matured into a very nice platform, indeed. Give these guys a chance! Bert
May 17, 20179 yr Surely the title of this thread should be: "Just 2 days away from the Pre-Historic Day!" Digging up the dinosaur that is FSX. Back when FSX ruled the planet. Kavinda J.D ^_^

For example, Aerofly FS2 has been in EA for about 1 year and hasn't changed all that much. Or you can look at Prepar3D and X-Plane and how long it takes for any major changes to get implemented with those. I agree with you Jimmi, however it is also possible that 3-4 months are enough to implement something they have been working on already. I'll try to be positive about it and after all, 3-4 months are quick to pass. Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
