FSX-SE Error in loading

Recommended Posts

Never had this problem before, just happened after a large Windows 10 update on 5/15/2017.
I have uninstalled FSX-SE and reinstalled - still the same problem.

Anyone else having this problem or have any thoughts on a solution?

I just uninstalled Nvidia GeForce and loaded FSX-SE and there was no problem - thanks for your input.

From now on I will use EventVwr more often on issues like this.

No sweat. Pleasure. Glad you are up and running. I too was rather concerned about that Windows Update, so set a Restore Point. luckily all ran smoothly.

Hi, I have had the same problem and recently fixed it.

Go to the FSX.exe, click properties, numerical signatures and look at  signature; You must find something like" Railsimulator T/A Dovetal" saying this certificat is valid.

If not valid this is the reason of the problem.

Then go to Win 10 certificats store and remove all invalid certificats from Dovetail.

Restart your computer, launch FSX-SE via Steam, who will provide a new and valid certificat, and you can play with FSX again.

That fix worked well in my case, good luck

Pierre
