How long is this sale on for, anyone know?

The website doesn't say, that's why I didn't wait and just jumped at it.

I didn't have any problem with my installation, and I installed it in P3Dv3 and FSX.

Just got quick, friendly and effective help with above issue from Robert at realflightshop.com via email.  Resolved.  Outstanding support.

Cool! To be honest, this was the first time I purchased anything at Real Flight Shop. Good to know there is good support coming out of that camp.

Does it come with a training flight like pmdg? I'm away from the sim until mid July

There is a sample flight delivery tutorial from Toronto to Montreal if that's what you mean.

Hey guys, just one last thing I'm going to mention about flying this plane. If you really want a more realistic flying experience, you have to consider the sound. As is, this aircraft is great, but for just a few bucks more, I recommend buying "IMMERSIVE AUDIO - MJC8 Q400 COCKPIT SOUND IMMERSION FSX P3D". I know it's not my money I'm spending, I can only speak for myself, but the realism you get out of this sound set it's in my opinion, awesome. Check out a few YouTube videos on it, and compare to the original, and you'll see what I mean. The reviews are great on it too.

Totally agree, have always gone premium for sound and will check this out especially after just buying an expensive head set

LOL - Hey slick - I understand... I've seen the Majestic considered by some to be one of the best planes ever produced for flight sim and here I got mine within a price that's acceptable to me... You like PMDG prices - great - have a ball... If I'm spending a hundred - I'd rather buy Avgas...

Regards,

Scott

I hear you when it comes to spending money on sim addons I cut way back myself to fund my RW flying account. I did break the piggy bank for a the FSL bus and I felt it was worth it because of the realistic ground handling and flight dynamics, but that was the last thing I bought.  I skipped the new PMDG 744 because I am not a fan of heavies but I am sure it is a excellent plane.  So I guess the way I went about spending less is not a hard dollar limit per addon but by being super picky on what I buy.

BTW. You made a great choice in the Q! it's a excellent plane bought both versions on release day, it's by far the best regional type plane for any sim.

My reason for skipping the latest PMDG 744 was because of their business model, where they no longer give support for their legacy products except for the NGX and the J41. I understand they are trying to force people in buying the latest and the greatest, but for me that is a big turn off, and lack of respect to customers who have been loyal for many years. Case and point, no more support for the MD11 or the older 744 v2. Another turn off when it comes to PMDG support, is their arrogance, like if you are some kind of bother to them when they feel you don't agree with some of the things they do or say. For me, at their price range and the bad experience on their forum, I'm out. I'm glad to have bought the NGX, and still fly the J41, but that's it.

Purchased, unable to activate, but I sent a message and am waiting for a reply :)

Majestic have a funky activation system. No serials.

It's interesting, there is definitely a divide between study sim and general flight sim.

I don't have many planes but highly value devs like pmdg and A2A and the likes.

When I break down the hours I've flown over the years the price tag versus reward is seriously ridiculously cheap.
