I'm not finding an official answer to this question in my brief time searching, so I'll reiterate the desire to know the answer.  I have the option of adding a second 1070 to my gaming/flight sim PC or upgrading to a faster single card.  I know as a general rule a faster single card is preferred, however if FSW scales well enough I would rather save the money and make a smaller purchase of a second 1070 than say a 1080 Ti or RX Vega whenever heck freezes over and it comes out.
