125 Hz controls issue

Recommended Posts

I use ChasePlane, which requires me to set up my views by disabling them in P3D or FSX control settings, allowing me to reassign the keys on ChasePlane. With that said, I try changing the ini to see if I can get the 125 Hz controls to work on my Pro Edition, but it's not working, no matter what I do. I have no control over my joke or rudders when I did the changes. Any ideas? One other thing, I tried to go to the official Majestic forum to find an answer, but I can't register for the forum, because I need some sort of invitation code, where do you get one?

I did an Google search on 'Majestic forum invitation code' and was pointed to these requirements.

Thanks Ernie, that's exactly what I was looking for. I went ahead and send them my info to get the invitation code, now I just have to figure out the issue I'm having with setting up the 125Hz control. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro single joystick, and an x-box controller with ChasePlane on FSX and P3D. I've posted on ChasePlane forum too, just in case.

There is a long thread over there on setting up 125hz controls.

Of course, without the invitation code I can't participate in asking question over there, but I've gone through the threads looking for answers. I've even found someone post their ini settings for one who uses the same joystick I do. I think the issue may be more than just not setting the right parameter, but a combination of using a camera view program that may be in conflict with the 125 Hz setup. I'm sure I'll find the answer soon enough.

You can always disable Chaseplane and see if your flight controls work then, but I don't think a conflict is your issue.

It's much more likely you haven't configured the 125 Hz controls properly; when you copy someone else's settings, even if they have the same joystick as you, your controller IDs are unlikely to be the same so you will need to edit them before they work.

There is a free 125 Hz controls config tool with a visual interface you may find helpful for identifying the controllers and setting the axis correctly at http://viaintercity.com/forums/bombardier-dash-8-q400-(dhc-8-402q)/majestic-q400-pro-125hz-controls-config-tool/msg2928/#msg2928

Since then, I've been able to access the Majestic forum, and my issue has been resolved. All is working now. I didn't use the free config tool, but that is a neat tool.
