Pete has just confirmed that My Traffic works ok. Thank God. UK 2000 airports might be a bit flaky though. I am assuming t MyTraffic will be the same install procedure for V4 as it was for V3.

Well, MyTraffic6 works okay, as does most sceneries from FSX/P3D3. There are problems with UK2000 sceneries which have assembly code internally, like Heathrow and Manchester. Maybe all of them for all I know -- not tried them all yet.

Pete

Official statement from Majestic:

http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/3089/majestic-software-prepar3d-v4-announcement#Item_1

Key phrases regarding v4:

"Something to make you all cognizant of is that Majestic will continue the transition of the Q400 for Prepar3D V4 when the simulator and the SDK becomes sufficiently stable."

"Several folks have asked about likelihood of MJC charging for the transition to the 64bit platform. This at the moment is under discussion and we'll provide additional information regarding whether there will be a charge for moving up to Prepar3D v4, bear in mind that MJC did not charge for moving from FSX to P3D v2x nor did we charge for moving from P3D v2.x to P3D v3.x."

This was a response from LevelD

The product currently works with FS9, FSX, FSX-SE, P3D v3.4.

P3D v4 is a 64 bit program. Going to have to wait for it to be released and an opportunity for the devs to take a look at what is involved with bringing the 767 to 64bit world.

So, no, no "plans" because the product has not been released.

Track IR? (It already works with 64 bit video games.)

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

There should be no need to uninstall this or do anything with it as far as I know.

FSimStudios said their scenery will be compatible with V4 but they are not sure if it will be free or not.  It depends on how much work has to be done.  They released a good YYC a few months back.

This is the response I got from Steve over at Flight1:

Hi,

We will of course look at in in P3Dv4 once it is released, and the plan is to add compatibility for P3Dv4. Remember, there are is a ton that goes on behind the scenes. We do not know how much work and time it will take.

So I doubt it will be ready on release day... we will report more here as we know more of course.

----

I hope it's sooner rather than later. UT Live is fantastic in my opinion.

Can the OP please update the spreadsheet? No point making a topic and not updating it for ages.
