PrecipitFX on v4?

One of the new features of Prepar3D v4 is the "New 3D Rain/Snow system". Does this means that the underlying code has changed or it is just 3D textures? Is PrecipitFX planned to work on the new system or take advantage of it?

I think that We will not need more this addon, because the new rain and snow effects in P3D v4.:biggrin:

V4 indeed has new rain and snow but if for some reason you don't like it, you can disable the 3d rain and fallback on the old system. We will still support v4 with PrecipitFX. We need some time to update the install process to support the Add-ons system built into v4

it seems seeing videos of P3Dv4 that there is still not any rain drop effects on the VC, are you plan to make a product for that ?
