X-Plane US Orthophotos Project...

I have the entire US loaded up and Northern Mexico and Baja California on a 4TB drive with ZL16 and ZL19 airports all over the US.    I'll need another drive soon to start building my Europe scenery.

My tile collection presently, is around 9 TB's, and probably will increase another 3 TB's, and I will be mostly done for where I fly world-wide, on a regular monthly basis. :)

Darn!  I just did the huge download of CA two days ago!!!  Oh well, guess I'll have to do it again!

Thanks for these.  I've been flying over the Southwest with Forkboy's Orthos, and it's pretty amazing.

I followed the install instructions to a T but it doesn't seem to be working.

I downloaded the Southeast US file, extracted it to custom scenery. Moved the yyOrtho4XP_overlays folder to Custom Scenery folder, and also moved zOrtho4_XP_Southeast to the Custom Scenery folder. I converted the JPEGs to DDS in my Textures folder, and then removed unneeded files when it was complete. I then deleted the Scenery packs INI, loaded Xplane 11, closed it down, confirmed that the new INI was created in the correct order and then I went to Nashville airport to only be dissapointed with the original blah graphics. Can anyone help me?

hm i made a testflight at KBNA and the orthophoto scenery works. Are you sure that the conversion was complete? I always check the number of files after a conversion to ensure that all jpg files have been converted.

EDIT: Did you also install MidWest?

I got it to work. It just really looks like crap when flying at low altitude, which I love doing(helicopters).
