Rob, if i wanted to play with the increased texture res on my 1080ti, i see there seems to be two CFG files, both seemingly the same, though one is a straight text file and one is not. How should i proceed?

Before some test I have obtained a really really good performance in v4, without significant typical problems, such as the horrible micro-stutters and, with a good quality in graphics (with continuous 60 fps). And this is only the begining... good job LM !!!!

Rob, a couple questions for you please. Is this the replacement in v4 for v3's Ground Shadow Texture Size? Want to get rid of the jagged edges to my shadows in the VC. If this is the correct line  in the Prepare3D.cfg to do this, will changing this to 1024 from 512 cause a big hit in performance? I currently have all options checked to receive but just the first two, terrain and clouds to cast. On a 1080Ti.

Rob did a video on shadows, might help with VC also.

since you have a 1080 Ti you should try it?
