Reshade for XP 11 Question

I downloaded this version of Reshade:

I like how easy it is to change how the sim looks, but XP 11 does NOT exit properly.

Does anyone know if there's a fix for the exit problem?

Is it safe to use even if XP 11 doesn't exit properly?

I don't want to break a working sim.

I used it for a while and the occasional crashes on exit didn't cause any problems, but a clean solution it is not. Sad because Reshade is a powerful tool. I suppose sooner or later the official release will work again with X-Plane. Maybe give it a try.

I also use it. I made a batch file to kill the x-plane process to exit. Works fine so far although it is far from being an elegant solution.

I am also hoping for a fix being as I have to use the Task Manager and select end task option to exit XPL11.
