Awesome. Last night, I upgraded my ASN to AS16 for $20 so I could get the free v4 update. Worth it. I'm ready!

I held out in asn for fsx until earlier this year, and as16 is great. even better especially overcast conditions combining it with active sky cloud art. Have never tried as16 in p3d this is my first time using p3d ever and in v4, so I can't wait to try. bought the p3d as16 upgrade during the sale this past week.

I also own AS16 with ASCA, So with ASCA is REX textures+Soft Cloud still necessary or does ASCA take care of the cloud textures and sky colors?

as16 combines with asca to do sky and cloud textures, it looks great in fsx i bet in p3d even better because of better visibility and fog options.

That's a judgement call. I prefer ASCA but others prefer REX. Big plus is that with ASCA you can get dynamic changes on the fly where with other textures you stay with the textures you initially installed

So if you have ASCA, it can't be used at the same time with REX Texture+Soft Clouds?

I used rex4 texture direct / soft clouds and sky textures but the dynamic changes and better performance of the as16/asca made me a true believer.
