P3D v3.4 Crash On Exit

Hi Team,

I've just downloaded and installed the latest version and notice P3D crashes on exit. See logs from event viewer below:

The QoTS does NOT, however, crash in P3D v4.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Did you read the install instructions from PMDG here at Avsim?. If you have P3Dv3 installed you must uninstall it first.

Did you see if the B747 is installed inside the sim folder or outside with the new installers?.

Yep, checked that too and it's under <sim>/PMDG in both v3 and v4.

Ok. I'd recommend you to post your issue in the Rob Randazzo's thread about the release of QOTSII for P3Dv4 here at Avsim.

I'm out of town and not with my PC now. I'm just following up the P3Dv4 release and the compatible addons and cannot help much in your case.

Any thoughts here, team? I've opened a support ticket but not able to upload the 50MB .dmp file. Is there a better way to shut down P3D v3 sim after the flight is complete? Normally, I would click on the menu and hit exit (I always fly windowed mode).

Cheers

i have the same problem with the 3 pmdg planes.

Have a read of the announcement posts, it's been acknowledged and will be looked at. It doesn't prevent you from flying so isn't high priority right now.
