I have departed from a small airfield called El Calafate and head North-West

Some thirty minutes into the flight I get close to my target destination

Patagonia's Cerre Torre (3128 mtr) and FitzRoy (3405 mtr) are some of the most spectacular mountain formations I have ever seen. Located at the Chilean/Argentinian border, they are also some of the most remote places you can visit

Excellent set Bernd.

I looked for the scenery but couldn't find it.

Do you have a link?

Unfortunately I don't. I downloaded this scenery around three years ago. I just checked the link I used at that time. It seems to be dead now

It's Cerro Torre.

And, yes, sadly Frank doesn't post links on internet he use that ...strange policy of you mail him first then he sends you a link for downloading. What can I say ...Frank like to do things on his own way. Like Frank Sinatra.

Great shots, frickin amazing area !

Cerro Torre and Fitzroy - so much history in climbing those two beautiful peaks !

You've got a mail Bernd. :senang:

Hi Bernd, I'm visiting this forum the first time for some months (due to real life obligations) and of all the new threads, this one impresses myself most. A stunning scenery and a plane for true explorers!

By the way, did you start at the new or the old airport of Calafate? Some years ago, I had the opportunity to use the runway of the old airport, then already out of service, for acceleration tests with a rented car...

Very best regards,

Harald

I am green with envy, Harald

Actually I don't know, which airport it was, as it came with the scenery. But as it was the only one in that particular area, I guess it was the new one
