FlightBeam Studios - KMSP Looks Awesome!

How is the performance with the custom AI?

Much better with P3Dv4.  Still a FPS hit, but nearly as bad as it was.  A lot of the major models are already compatible, but there's still a lot of conversion work to be done by many other modelers as well.  AIG is also now converting and posting some updated models too.

Never had any flight beam products but this looks like a contender.

There are three airport scenery developers I judge all other scenery purchases by - FSDreamTeam, FlyTampa, and FlightBeam Studios.  If able, you might check-out FBST's other offerings as well.

I used to mess with this a lot and am starting to feel the itch again. Looking at them it looks like the Airbus heavies appear to be the glaring omission at the moment. That is unless you want to buy them.

I roll my own traffic from Alpha India Group (AIG) - the best there is.  I'm only about 1/3rd done re-installing all my airlines specifically for P3Dv4 (no more crippling the textures to avoid OOM).

I use AIA, AIG, FAIB etc too with AIFP. Do the models work well for you? I've installed them but haven't checked yet and I was a bit confused about the install method...

Now that I OOM's are no factor with v4 - I say release the flood gates.  Can't believe T2G did SEA because you know everyone is pairing it with Orbx PNW.  OOM central in P3D v3 lol

What resolution for AI textures are you using?

None. :)

MSP comes with the new Flightbeam Manager and eventually, all of the products will be moved to the new system.

Some features of the new Flightbeam Manager are:

- Send Support emails which can automatically attach your FSX/P3D.cfg and other vital files
- Display a News Feed with our latest articles
- Displays our FAQ
- Allows automatic downloads of product updates (with user input)
- Automatically updates itself (with user input)
- Troubleshooting tool that can dynamically search and de-activate duplicate AFCADs,    without ever leaving the Flightbeam Manager

Cheers,

It varies - the older AIA type stuff is running 1024/DXT3/Mipped.  The new stuff from FAIB and FSPX is usually 2048/DXT5/Mipped and the larger 747's are 4096.
