Fuselage to VC view for shadow.

Recommended Posts

So I've heard from a few posters that QueenBee had a fuselage modeled in the VC view so we can see a full shadow of the plane. Looking at the 777 I am not seeing this as all I am seeing is the cockpit shadows. Is there any chance this can be implemented in the future?

Yeah PMDG, Robert fixed the 747 shadow very fast, why not do the same for the 777?

Because the latest updates were compatibility only, no new features were added.

Because we were already working on fixes/updates for the 747 as part of post-release cleanup. This wasn't the case for the 777 and 737. As mentioned a few times here, we made it abundantly clear that the 777 and 737 updates would be compatibility-only.

Will you then work on a completely new version of the T7?

Why would they need to? Updates maybe, but completely new version?

Could be! If its an older design and many of the updates would make it harder for PMDG in the future to keep it up to date, then maybe its better to rebuild it.

True although I think for the time being the 777 has been designed in such a way that new advancements in the 747 can eventually be moved to the 777 too.
