Can I Permanently Change the Zoom In Prepar3D v4 ?

Recommended Posts

Anyone has a solution for this in P3Dv4? I have a triple monitor surround view and the default view (VC) is zoomed out wide angle.. I wand it to be 1.0

Hmm...

Hit the backspace key. View (set to default -1x) When you use the + - keys to zoom in and out backspace will return view to 1.

Edit the configuration file in local data \AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D_Default.fxml.  Change the zoom value for the various cameras.  I set Camera.1.2 "Virtual Cockpit" to a value of "0.80" from "0.2999"

Yep, it is the best and the most elegant way to config your cams and is aircraft specific.

Make sure you have a simconnect.xml in your folder, many people had this issues include me I found out just copying a simconnect.xml into  P3Dv4 works very well.

Late to the party, as I just installed P3DV4 two days ago... thanks for the tip! This works a treat...
