need some help picking CPU/MOBO combo

time for me to pick a mobo but with so many i can't pick one so was thinking i can get some help from you guys ..

I'm looking at the 7700K 1151 socket ... not to crazy about a limit on the price but if a 100$ can get me a MOBO thats ok than we can start at 100$

I went with the Asus Maximus IX hero, very pleased so far.

Asrock and Asus are both good choices but I'd probably only go for a Z270 board myself for the extra PCI-E lanes.

My word of advice is stay with an Asus z270 board of some flavor.  The Strix series is a good intermediate board.  The 270E model will get u wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for right under $200.  Go for the Prime series to save a little money.  I see no point spending the extra money on the Maximus series.  I really like this board compared to the AsRock board I had prior.  The Asus board was a lot less picky when overclocking.

thanks for the replys guys i went with a z270 and a Asrock h270 pro  also for q side project . got my power supply too .
