Radar Contact 5?

In the release notes of MakeRunways 4.80, Pete describes several data files that are used by RC5.  Let the speculation begin....

Sounds like Ground operations will be added

 

R5.bin
This is a binary version of the R5.csv file, with some extra fields. Details of the format are given below.
G5.csv
This contains information about Gates, Ramps, Parking places, along with airline lists where specified.
It is used by later versions of Radar contact.
T5.csv
This contains details of all taxi paths. It is used by later versions of Radar contact.
T5.bin
This is a binary version of the T5.csv file. Details of the format are given below.
F5.csv
This lists all COM frequencies and associated names, including the airport name, for Radar Contact 5 or
later.

Those facilities were added for v5 which was well into it's development by that time.

v5 exists in beta form but was never completed

It was cancelled many years ago and will probably never be released now.

It's always been there. Sorry, perhaps I should have edited it out in the latest edition (converted from TXT file to PDF now).

Well, yes, but, there isn't any 757 out there for P3D (I'm talking like a pretty good one). Meanwhile ATC currently has PF3 and ProATCX which are very good and many people are using with many benefits, if RC want to get 5 on going it is going to be a huge challenge for a stand still project.
