So, those of you that indicated no problem shortly after Andy announced the issue (and I confirmed it) might want to take a look at your anti-virus situation. You may not be as protected as you thought. Just a word of caution.Andy mentioned he was using Avast. I am also. I highly recommend it.Tom, glad to see you found the issue.-DC

Hey Tom and all,I've been meaning to bring this to your attention. All of a sudden several months ago, I started getting a good 30 second delay opening your site. I love the classics and go there pretty often. I just checked it again. It took 32 seconds to open. I'm not complaining. Your site is well worth the wait. Just wanted you to know.... and I'm a little curious why it does that and why all of a sudden....Oh well, thanks fopr the great site and for all those fantastic classics. I wish I had the smarts to enable me to come up with a 40s to 60 something era simulator. Much like the Golden Wings except for a little later period. Looks like you aren't far from it with all those great sceneries.Tom Thanks!Earl

Maybe twice a week(it seems like anyway) I get a notification that the software for Avast has been updated! and it should be borne in mind this is freeware. At the moment there are a variety of offensive thingies locked up in the vault, and long may they stay there. This one incident shows that Avast is well worth checking out. It comes from www.alwilsoftware.comAndy.

Hi,It's probably because I have so many pictures currently on the main page (I hope!). I need to remove most of the old ones so it loads faster. Thanks,
