Limitations missing from Carenado documentation

Recommended Posts

Here are copies from the Airplane Flight Manual.

The Airspeed Limitations placard is located at the bottom of the Overhead Light Switch Panel.

Enjoy

Thanks Ray,

Would it be possible for you to post a screenshots of the manual where it explains how to properly execute  an ILS, manual approach (speed, flaps and stuff)  ?

No. The FMS page where we would normally add payload (PERF) is blank - not coded.  Only Fuel info is available in the Carenado FMS PERF page.  I use the FSX Fuel and Payload drop down menu feature.

The mod we made for the CJ2 PC-21 has this info constantly updated in the FMS screen.

Regards,

Ray

Note in the AFM limitations the maximum ambient temperature +37C, which is only 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a weakness of the r/w Premiere - or more specifically of the Williams engines. Basically, if the air temperature at an airport is above 100 degrees F, one cannot take off. This is a real problem in trying to operate a Premiere out of desert airports like Phoenix, Las Vegas etc in warm weather months.

Yes, the Hawker 200 edition with the FJ44-3AP w/FADEC 3,050 lb thrust is much more capable at high and hot runway altitudes.

The limit is ISA +37C which means e.g. at S.L. 52C (125F).  Haven't seen more than 50C IRL too many times, not even in DXB etc.

That Flight Info gauge is invaluable. I've used it in other airplanes. Not prototypical, but it sure eliminates the need for some other gauges on a limited space 2D panel.
