Problem after update to version 1.10.8383.0

Hi Torsten,

Could you try downloading the full installer from the PMDG website and reinstalling with that. The issue maybe lies with updating via the Operations centre.

Hello

The Fullinstaller is still version 1.10.8333.0
So not the latest version as after the update over the operation center.
There is the version 1.10.8363.0

When will there be a new installer with the updates ??
Because I really have no more lust.
Uninstall Reinstall nothing really helps even if I disable everything from the virus Scanner to the defender / firewall .
Reinstalling the Simconncet also does not help,and the setting of the service Flexnet to Automatic does not help.
The 777 remains dead .. very sad !!
What I find a pity is that it is now 3 days a ticket gives and not even a response until now has come.

Hey Guys

Am now with the problem already something further advanced, and I have the following tried in the FMC License Unregistered and then the PMDG 777 Uninstalled.
Then the Installer new executed version 1.108333.0 after the P3D started and the 777 selected flight start selected and then came also the activation window had however the 777 not activated but cancel pressed.
The P3D loaded it all and the 777 was completely dead.
Thought me Probier times out of the update before activation to execute, and then the 777 to activate.
 but then came the disillusionmen , the activation window did not come .
So here is something wrong, the activation window does not appear.
So, but the update over the Opc something does not run as it should be!

that happened to me.

the solution do a complete uninstall for the airplane.

uninstall from "Programs"

Delete the folders have the PMDG 777 names:

from your AppData then roaming then Lockheed martin then SimObjects

 

Delete the folder PMDG 777 from AppData then Roaming then PMDG then Updates folder then delete the 777 folder

then run ccleaner to fix your registry 

then reboot.

After that install the airplane which you downloaded it for V4 then install it.

 

After that run PMDG operation center and you will find a notification there's a new version.

Click install (it will download files via command prompt) .

Hi there, I have a new log file from the update ...
Maybe someone sees the error why after the update my 777 does not work.

Have  for are  week a ticket with PMDG but until now still no answer !!!

I think there may be an issue!

Are you installing for both P3Dv3.4 and P3Dv4? If so shouldn't the target folder for P3Dv4 should be "D:\Prepar3d_V4\PMDG\PMDG 777X\"

I've split your file text at the point where Install for P3Dv4 commences. The installer still seems to reference the P3Dv3.4 folder (??)

Also, in the statement ...

2017/06/29 00:44:15 [PMDG 1] PMDG 777-200LR/F path should be D:\Prepar3d_V3.4\\PMDG\PMDG 777X\

there are two backslashes after 3.4, but this may just be a typo!

Hmmm good spot. Are you running P3Dv3 or v4? If it's v3, then it looks like it's installing the v4 update into v3.

Yeah. If it's seeing the same value for both sim locations then it looks like the issue here is something like the EMT striking - YET AGAIN - to ruin everyone's day. Seriously. I cannot stress enough how awful that program is, and how you should NOT be using it. It's complete garbage, and results in people (to include us) chasing our tails for hours, days, and weeks, needlessly.

Get rid of it, and fix your registry.

As for the \\ mention, the path functions ignore duplicate \s when a path is assembled. I could've wrote an extra function to remove it from the print, but it was largely a wasted effort since the program itself doesn't functionally care about it.
