Stange 2D window

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

Using the 744 in P3D4. Working flawlessly for me, but in the top left corner of my screen I see a tiny white box. I hover over it, and I get the option to drag/expand the window. Out of curiosity I drag it larger and it's the 2D autopilot panel. But I can't then close it, only drag it back to a smaller size. It's there from the moment I load the aircraft and it's the same with every version of the aircraft. The panel isn't functional and all the windows in it (airspeed ,altitude etc) are blank. I can bring up the normal 2D autopilot panel using the shift plus (sorry I forget the number!) command, and it seems to be completely independent of that.

It's not really causing a problem and I can happily ignore it but it has got me curious. Does anyone else have this?

Thanks

Neil Phillips

I haven't flown the 744 in some time but I do recall there being a small white box in the top left corner, I never investigated it further. I'm guessing it's required for some background process.

Ah, ok, maybe I'll just leave it well alone then. Guess I'm doing the equivalent of "ooh I wonder what this button does" on the real aeroplane!

Cheers

Everyone has it, and now it will end up being something that can never be unseen. It's something we use for panel lighting, I think.
