Hello.

With this little information it'll be very hard to help you. But ntdll.dll would tend to relates to something outside of the PMDG product as it is a dll from Windows.

We are at P3D V4 and after so many years of "development", this platform is still crashing? Unbelievable.

The base simulator  is not crashing. The open architecture that allows bugs in 3rd party applications to behave badly causes almost all of the CTDs.

Because after so many years softwares are still made by humans. And because after millions of years of evolution the man still makes mistakes.

Try to find any software that is as complex and is absolutely 100% not crashing while being compatible with millions of hardware/software combinations.

If you'll take a look on the Right Side of most any AVSIM page (including this one), you'll find the AVSIM CTD Guide.  It's a PDF file that you can download, open, and search.  There is a very good description of the error you've cited, along with things to try in order to resolve the problem.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Best wishes.

Any time I've had this issue it was rectified by updating my nvidia drivers. Check your GPU for driver updates.

I also had this happen. I don't think it is attributable to the 747, however. Driver I am running is: 382.05. On this trip, Active Sky for v4 froze about 5 minutes into the flight; then the crash occurred about 8 hours after (this was before I updated to current version B6377). I've also disabled FSUIPC5 as I was having issues with it causing micro stutters.

OP, which driver are you using? Do you use Active Sky for v4 (ASP4)? Do you use FSUIPC5?

Download the AVSIM CTD guide and try the steps it recommends.  See Hot Spots in right side column.

And we still have to pay at least $60 each time there's a few updates to the decade old base code...

I read AVSIM CTD guide many times previously when had a few times this problem on v3.

Also performed all checks. nothing was found.

I thought it was solved in v4.
