No go for me and the Milviz Beaver. No night lighting

Recommended Posts

The various versions of the VS redistributables are not cumulative. They are stand-alone packages that support dynamic link libraries that were compiled for that specific version. This is similar to the way the various SimConnect modules are compiled for specific versions and sub-versions of P3D.

The interior lights work fine for me...But the "no cabin" is a deal breaker...This is quite a departure from the Beaver, and all of their other products as well...Can't be to save frame rates...My rig is a dinosaur and I get 30 FPS with the Beaver...I'm just glad I didn't buy it before I found out...Still very disappointed though...

Actually the only time we put cabins in is when we have no choice but to do so. Otherwise, they aren't there.  Example, the 737.  No cabin.  The T-50.  No cabin.  The list will grow.  The ATR... No Cabin.  The C-130.  No cabin.  Starting to see a pattern here?  It's your choice.  Want to fly or want to ride?

We fly.

lol Classic example... CS 737 has a ton of eye candy but the Milviz 737 is my favorite because if flies right and the systems are modelled better. I can literally jump out of the NGX and into the 200 and feel right at home but with an analog flair. real lights and truglass just makes it even better. if there is any complaint it is that the liveries are limited. Ya, it's cool to see the cabin and operate all the doors, load cargo and ground services but I do more flying than watching the lavs get pumped or fuel being delivered.

The Beaver does have night lighting. The gauges are dimable, you have a cabin light, I'd love to see LED wig wag landing lights but all is there as it should be.

Using " Old School " effects like vclight.fx  one can add a cabin light with that warm red glow we used to see in FS9 , controlled with the L key, totally retro !
