Paraparaumu is a small town on the western tip of the North Island. The trip takes us around the tip into Wellington and then further north

We have just taken off. The island in the background is called Kapiti Island.

Nice... Kapiti Coast is booming as property prices squeeze Wellington!

I fly in there fairly regularly as a passenger on a Q400.
