Update 1.10.8383.0

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am currently flying the T7 in FSX without any problems. I gathered from the forum here that there is a new update out (1.10.8383.0) which gives some users some trouble.

Now, I am wondering if I should install this update or not. I would not want to ruin my currently perfectly working setup.

Could someone kindly tell me what the key changes were in this T7 update, or point me to the changelog?

Thank you

From what I've seen, the issues are in P3Dv4 and not affecting FSX.

Hi Dave,

As far as I know PMDG has not released the micro update for FSX yet and it is not clear if this will be the same version number as the P3D update that was already released.

More on what is anticipated can be found here.

I have not checked OC today to see if there is an update available.Re changelog, this is usually communicated in the OC once available.

Hope this helps some.

Regards

Mark

The latest update for the 777-200LR/F was released on 20JUN17. That is version 1.10.8363. Unless there's a new version released within the last couple of hours?!

The latest update for the 747-400 was released on 23JUN17. That is version 3.00.8370.

Am I missing something?!

I´m waiting for this update too (FSX-SE user). It´s not released yet.

Thanks for all your replies. Microupdate so far released for P3D only.

Maybe the reported issues on P3D will be sorted out before the FSX release in case they'd affect FSX as well.

I believe it's not released on any FSX platforms because I don't think the changes affect FSX in any way, they are all P3D related.

This update will bring the new rolling friction model, implemented on the "47". I guess it´s the only new feature on the FSX, but it´s very important to me.

Yes, it would be nice to have the new ground friction model, but there are so many problem reports regarding the new version on this forum, also from folks who run FSX. If the ground friction model is the only change in FSX, I am going to hold my horses on that update. I'd be more interested in a list of bugfixes for the FSX version (if such thing exists).
