Hey PMDG Tram,

ifni install this hotfix that came out today, will I break the 777 and 744?

I cant speak for them, but I doubt it will break it considering they were waiting for it so they can continue the work on the 777-300 and the NGX series.

Keep a copy of the original Client. If something breaks uninstall the hot fix and restore the original

Everything works fine for me with the Hotfix. I tested the 747 and the 777 at Flightbeam KMSP and Taxi2Gate LPFG.

The only thing I noticed is that, if only turned on my right Landing light in the 777, both (left and right) landing lights illuminate the ground. If I only turn on the left one, no landing light illuminates the ground from the virtual cockpit.

time compression does not seem to work

if you mean auto time compression: are you in level flight?

The cabin lights also do not dim on the 777, have not tested the 747 yet

It should be working, and if not it wil be soon, as it is a required hotfix for the 777-300 :)

Clearly you did not understand my question. I was asking if the hotfix would mess up my 777 and 744 NOT the 77W which hasn't been released yet. I see a few anomalies being reported by users in this thread but no show stoppers yet!

It should not mess up your PMDG products.  HiFi hasn't updated their AS16 Open Beta yet for the hotfix so it has stopped working but they are usually quick to catch up.

Well that's why I said (because I've not tested) it should be working and if not they will probably just make some hotfix updates  shortly for their 747-400 and 777-200LR/F to make them work perfectly with this hotfix. I think there should really be no worries about it :)

Thanks for the heads up Dan

AS16 with the latest build (6383) was working fine for me. Chase plane said they didn't have a build available but seemed to function fine.
