What's that got to do with what I said? Person I quoted said they have a 1080 graphics card designed to run games at 4K resolution, I told them the differences between P3D/FSX and a game and why that doesn't necessarily transfer across.

Timm, 

You previously mentioned you were seeing 45 FPS. Which means your Vsync setting is not doing anything.

I assume you are using a 60Hz monitor. If you were running at 30Hz, then Vsync would be holding a constant 30 FPS. 

Vsync simply matches P3D's FPS to the monitors refresh rate. Hardware permitting. If it falls below those thresholds, it does nothing. With that being said, Vsync works like a charm!
