Getting repaints into v4

Anybody using avsim repaints in  P3D4 ? It won't let me install them. Do they work if you copy them from v3 or fsx ?

Are you running the operations centre as admin? What does the message actually say?

When I get home I'll attach the error message and I'll make sure I'm running as admin....

I tried running as admin. When I try the ptp file is says...

The following error occured:

"N589KB Grey" is for the PMDG 747-400ER but that variant is not installed !

are P3DV4 repaints specific ?

And the repaint is for the 747v3 (not the old FSX/FS9 747)?

Is it like that with any repaint you try?

Correct..try it. I'll try some more as well. My OPS center is up to date.

Just tried pmdg_747_400_thopat_repaint.zip and failed

Found it ! You can only add by clicking the add button, not by double clicking the ptp file anymore.
