P3Dv4 Majestic Dash 8 Q400

Recommended Posts

In May, I purchased the Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Special Bundle Pack. Do you have any idea when it will be ready for the P3Dv4? (The Majestic is also not ready for that matter, so no burning hurry)

When you update the software? will you be offering a discount upgrade path, as I have never loaded the software yet due to a swap to the P3Dv4 platform.

I have no idea.  Majestic needs to release the P3D v4 version of their aircraft first.

We will release a P3D v4 version like we just did with the PMDG 777.  Expect similar pricing.

Best,

Thanks for reply Bryan. Yes appreciate you need to see what Majestic do with their P3Dv4 version.

Tad disappointing though that the 64 bit version is a whole new purchase with no upgrade pricing from the dual FSX/P3Dv3 to single P3Dv4. Anyway, one of those things. I will use the previous FSX version in my old FSX machine.

We'll be offering discount coupons like we did with the 777.

And it will also ship with a free Global FO voice set worth 20 Euros.

It's a pretty good deal.

Yes, I saw the ad for the 777, but first or subsequent buyers of the 777 will get the same purchase deal, though, subsequent buyers have purchased a P3D version twice.

I guess though, your comments I saw somewhere, you are saying you had no record of who purchased any of your products, due to many sales outlets, and you have no purchaser records, so it was impossible to to determine who did or did not qualify for previous purchase discount. As i said earlier, one of those things, when I want to use FS2Crew for the Majestic, I will use my FSX machine.

It is indeed an awesome deal.  To be honest the global voice packs never interested me as far as extra purchase.  But getting them packaged in with the main buy has me exploring the new voices on the 777.  I look forward to doing the same on other aircraft as well.

Has anyone actually heard from Majestic since May 26th when they made the announcement that they are working on the conversion? It's two months later and no additional information since then in their forums ... makes me go hmmm!

I'm pretty sure the P3D V4 Majestic Dash 8 is coming from their developer :-)

But give them time.  Converting to 64 bits is more complex than pressing a button.

lol, I realize that. I just haven't seen any updates since.

Yeah, I know what you mean about 'no' news or updates. Just be nice for a one liner to say how they were progressing. We do not expect a novel. Even RR from PMDG provides a regular update how their P3Dv4 updates were/are going.
