Installing FSX-SE

Recommended Posts

HI; Just purchased FSX-SE and REX4 Textures bundle from Steam. Steam is installed on my SSD Drive, which is my main drive and i want to know if the  FSX bundle should also go there or to create a new folder outsideof Program Files. Thanks

To be safest, create a new root folder specially for FSX to avoid any potential problems with permissions.

I have a 500 gig SSD that is dedicated to my operating system and FSX SE only. I do not even have Steam on that drive, it is on a 1 gig HDD dedicated to all of my FSX addons that will run outside of the FSX root folder. Only my addons like PMDG and FSDT etc that require being in the root folder go on that SSD. I created a "Seam Library" folder on my C drive (C/Steam Library) for FSX.
