BTW, after installing windows 10 and updating it to the latest updates (except for the creator 10 or whatsoever), and installing all drivers, I installed Steam first then FSX:SE then PMDG 747.  While installing the PMDG, there was a message that says;

An exception has occured!

Interesting how you got that error message during the install, then ran the sim anyway and were confused why you're having problems in the sim!

I'm guessing either the installer hasn't downloaded properly and has gotten corrupted, or you haven't run as admin. I would try downloading the installer again from your account (an update was released about 2 hours ago so that may fix your issues) and uninstall, reinstall.

That failing, I'd take the installers advice and submit a support ticket

Hi Chris,

I always make sure that when I install programs that I use more often, I always run it as Administrator.

So I have to download again the full package that has the update and uninstall the whole PMDG 737 and 747 that I bought?

Cheers,

Max Barawid Jr.

Correct, the 737, 747, and 777 all received updates today so an uninstall and reinstall of the new downloads will be required.

Have I don anything wrong?

Yep. You absolutely have to read the Intro Manual. I know that gets thrown around a good bit, but it's hugely important, and addresses quite a number of common errors people make.

Essentially, you are not turning the AP off correctly. Assign a key command to one of your yoke's buttons, and then set the same command for AP DISCONNECT in the PMDG SETUP > OPTIONS > KEY COMMANDS menus. Press once to turn it off. Press once more to silence the alarm.

Looks either like driver issues, or an unstable overclock.

Hi Kyle,

Thanks again.  I will try that.  I am just starting to install PMDG 737 after downloading.

I never overclock my system since I am happy with the performance at stock settings.

I'll keep you posted once I got all installed and updated.
