Recommended Posts

FYI - no announcement, but, the v4 installer for the C337 is up on the Carenado website.

Seemed to install fine for me . . .

Neither my current serial or the new one sent in a new link email work for me. I filed a support ticket....

I think they will create a batch of planes updated to v4 before annoucing them. Like they did with Alabeo planes.

Anyway, it´s not available thru simmarket.com yet.

I cannot find a V4 as such, but I do see a V3.2...

It is under "My Account", "Click to Download", [the name of the file is XCE1900.zip}...????

Where do you see the version number? (without downloading it, which will use up one of the few allowed downloads)

v4 meaning P3D v4.  The product version according to the download is 2.1, and it shows on the product page as well :

  • Version 2.1
  • Full FSX, P3D v2, v3, v4, and Steam compatible.

I was able to install it, but it CTDs on selection after starting the sim with the default F-22.

I think version 2.1 is the P3D3 version from May. Funny that their website even refers to V4 P3d.

 I'd wait a bit...

strange that  Carenado should have any issues with instillation into P3d v4 as they supply one of the original aircraft for LM to use in V4,I would have thought that they really had it down to a T

The installer for 2.1 is the current installer and quite clearly has an option to install into P3Dv3 or P3Dv4.  They sent out emails today as well.

Yes I bought it today from Carenado,  and it does install into V4. Unfortunately, the installer that came out May 5 (or so) was also named 2.1.  This new one unzips to a new named exe file:  CE1900XV2.1.exe instead of the old C337FSXP3Dv2.1.exe

Ha, go figure

The Carenado installer from May contained CE1900XV2.1.exe, too:

It seems Carenado reset the download counter for this update again, so I'm now back at 8 available downloads for the installer. That's good news :)
