He might be referring to the new lighting updates. They pushed several today, they just pushed the ones for SoCal and NoCal which wasn't part of the initial wave.

Well it depends on what update you were referring to! Apparently there has been an update for the lighting today. If so, my apologies.

Anyone got some screen snapshots of the new lighting?   Also, is this the same lighting I'm reading causes a massive performance hit?

There are new updates which got pushed out today! I am downloading them as I type this.
