RAM and VRAM question

Do we need more than 16GB RAM and 8GB VRAM for v4?

I am thinking about buying a new PC and this is important for me to know.

I don`t fly Airliners,i`m a Bushflyer and WW2 Propfighters most the time----low and slow.

With that type of flying, you will do just fine with 16/8. Of course, more is better but not really needed for what you do. A lot depends on scenery and settings.

If you do not want push TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP to 10, then propably yes. Depends what is running in your system. With TSE=10 and high settings 16GB will be close same as 8GB VRAM
