AHHHH! I finaly dedided to slide my sliders full left, evry single one, dynamic scnery I left in the middle as well as with autogen. I flew at night no weather. I fly with the flight1 atr and fs2crew and ultimate terrain. I get good frames at to and cruise from 35-20. But for landing, at kpbi, I get from 15-5. Do you have detailed addon scenery for KPBI?? If so that would explain it. duplicate afcads? bad ai textures? im just guessing but it could be a problemalso check your fs9.cfg file for duplicate display sections

That sounds more like the force feedback issue where framerates dropped to 1 or less as soon as you touched down....Complicated scenery or certain types of clouds can bring my FS' framerate to its knees. My system may be over 2 years old now, but it still should be a pretty powerful system, and flying into KJFK (especially on a cloudy day) I typically see 10fps or less (Unless I'm looking down at the aircraft from spot view, which usually boosts framerates because it's not having to display clouds, scenery and AI traffic...)A complicated scenery package for that area can certainly kill your framerates, depending on how it's done and other factors. The Flight1 ATR is a complex aircraft with a complex panel that will certainly affect system performance to some degree, even without FS2Crew running in addition. Don't know about ultimate terrain, don't own it (yet)..I agree with Michael here, there's just so many variables that can affect framerates (some of which may not even be FS-related, such as spyware running in the background hogging resources), it's difficult to pinpoint which ONE is your problem..

Hi Alex,You must realize that moving most of the sliders full Left has pushed your computer to the limit. Landing in general will always reduce frame rates, even at night. Move your sliders back to where they were and things will be fine.Have you ever posted just what your computer details are? Hummm.....I was under the impression that pushing the sliders LEFT would unload the computer. Not push it to the limit.

Hi All,Knowing Alex a bit from his posts I figured he meant to say all to the Right as his FPS bottomed out. Also, he seemed pretty happy (AHHHH!) that he did so. I don't know of ONE simmer who has ever gotten excited about actually moving the sliders to the Left. AHHHHHH!!! = MAD!!!!Yes I moved them full left. The thing is that I always get bad fps at landing. Every single slider is moved full left, exept dynamic scenery, so I will have airport bulidings and autogen to normal. I have every thing full left. I fly with no weather and at night. The reason that I fly at night is because since with all sliders full left, if I fly at day, it would look horrible. The textures would suck! Flying at night you cant see much and sincce I have Ut usa, night time is so awsome with the elevated lights. I also use the default airports. I use aeu7 and thats it. I usualy land at kpbi or kfll, not huge airports. They are default airports, no gates. You need to post your PC specs. Integrated video cards are not very good, and probably a big part of the problem. With that video, you should not be using aeu7 textures.

Hi Alex,I stand corrected!!Suggestions:1. Turn Off residentual roads, bridge roads and tunnel roads. Also the lighting for these same roads.2. Try flying during the daylight with sliders in the middle. One suggestion that you might check is to be certain that you have anti-aliasing turned OFF in the FS9 video settings and ON in the desktop settings. Having it ON in the FS9 settings will really have a negative impact (50% on my system) on your Frame Rates.If that isn't the problem, then I would agree, post your settings and let's see if something stands out.Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/DEV.jpg

System specs and add-on scenery info as well as the type of aircraft you were flying certainly would help narrow things down a bit.
