Disabling bgl in default airport question.

I have Flightbeam KMSP and still have default RW signs present.  I have posted on their forum but have gotten no help.  Is there a way to turn off the default RW signs bgl files in p3d V4?

Check that your addon is at the top of the scenery list. That should force it to over ride the default scenery underneath. Also, look for other duplicate afcads for KMSP. Especially if you are using MyT6, or Orbx scenery.

I am using both MT6 and Orbx OpenLC.   I know I have done this before but could you give me a crash course on looking for the duplicate afcads please?

Just go into the MTX folder that houses all MTX Afcads and scroll though it until you find the one for KMSP. I don't have MTX so I don't know the folder structure to look in but should be easy to find it. They might have also included a KMSP.cvx file as well, so either remove or rename any KMSP files for MTX. You can just rename the .bgl to .off and keep it in the folder. 

While you're there you might want to also rename any Afcads for other payware airports you have as well to avoid duplicate building and stuff like that.

YEan./. I am noticing using old sceneries in P3Dv4 I  too have too many generic airport buildings overlaid on addon airports. The F1 tool AFX was very good in FSX we never got a version of that tool in P3D.

I do not think that Open LC adds any airports. Just the Orbx regions and freeware add on packs. (ie; PNW and NA Airport pack)

For MyTraffic6; Go to the My Traffic Pro install folder. Inside will be a Scenery folder containing 2700 afcads. Look for the file BR2_KMSP.bgl and change the name to BR2_KMSP.OFF.

I did just that for MT6 and it did the trick.
