How to save size and position of PFD, ND as 2D panels

Featured Replies

Is there a way to save the position and size of the 2D panels (PFD, ND, EICAS) in a panel state, or in any other way?

The background of this question is as follows: I'm using a Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Monitor which has an aspect ratio of 21:9. That means that every time when you click into the PFD, ND, or any other of the displays for the FIRST time, you get the 2D panel in the same aspect ratio as the physical monitor. In other words, these 2D panels are always distorted when you open them for the first time, and then you have to resize them manually until they fit your needs.

Kind regards,

I know it is possible to save the positions of the panels via panel state for home cockpits, it might be the same for regular monitors as well, don't run an Ultrawide so I don't really know.
