Thank you for your reply Chris.

This screen from my FSX:SE with same zoom level.

Is this coming from NVI AA transparency setting?

Regards.

I'm guessing so because the text in FSX:SE looks a lot more jagged suggesting AA isn't being applied to it.

Actually there is 8xSGSS AA tranparency on NVI and AA ticked in FSX settings...

Strange, it doesn't look like it's being actually applied though

It looks like antialiasing is set for "application-controlled." Try another setting. I don't know which is proper for FSX-SE. In P3D you would choose "enhance the application setting" (or something to that effect. I forget the actual words).

Correct, there are two modes enhance or override. I would try both.

Usually either FXAA, or HDR (specifically brightness).

Thanks Kyle,

Turning off FXAA definitely improved the sharpness of the PFD and ND.  That was likely the cause.

I tested this in NGX for P3Dv4 since I have removed the B777-200 for P3Dv4 pending installing the latest update.

I also decreased my brightness.  I'm still learning how to control the lighting effects.

I was under the assumption from FSX that FXAA was desired.  Is anyone putting together a guide for configuring P3Dv4 with all the new features?

Thanks everyone!

I was out with a mate last night whose a fellow simmer.  He also had big issues with the new ndivia drivers just released.  He uninstalled and when back one and the sim is ok again.

Ive just done lgw-mco-bfs-man-mco in the 744 with the old drivers and all is back to normal v4 goodness.  I cant recommended enough ditching the new drivers

Which driver version was causing the issue and what version did you roll back to?
