Barry (or someone)Can you post just the VC section of the panel.cfg? I'm away from my FS2004 workstation, but I would like to take a look anyway.-John

Here 'tis - I'm very interested to see if this is a resolvable issue too!

I hadn't looked at the panel.cfg before suggesting I could help earlier, but given the number of gauges that are being projected onto the poly, it would require a redesign of the VC projection polys to get things sharper. In my experience, 1024 seems to be an upper limit in the size MSFS allows for size in the top .cfg entries. In a situation where there's so many gauges, it's usually best to split the panel and use two or more projection polys. The trick I described in my earler post works if the projection poly can be shortened into a rectangular shape, and that may or may not be the case--it depends on the shape and area of the VC being represented. I can tell from the .cfg values that the panel projection poly is almost a perfect square in the source, but that square may fit neatly into the VC panel.-John

Which of them are you thinking about? I'm using Flightline T for the primary flight instruments, Sandell EHSI and the 530 GPS. All of them are placed with FS Panel Studio. The VC is very well layed out for replacements, cause the gauges sits on top of bitmaps, so it is actually possible to alter the background. In this case they have the gauge cases drawn in the bitmap, so I had to paint over those in Photoshop to make room for the GPS.I'm thinking about doing some more touch up tonight, and maybe post it on the user edit page at Reality XP. To be more realistic, and save some virtual money, I'm also going to swap the extra Sandell with a simpler HSI too :).Eagle

Here's the final (almost) version of my "Twotter Mix" (Lago/Eric Dante/Reality XP) project panel. I've sent it to Reality XP to see if it ends up at their Community Files list ...Now I'm going to swap those Bendix radios for something nicer, from Carenado perhaps

I'm not sure what you mean by a Lago/Dantes mix. Are you simply using the Lago model with the Dantes FDE. Because I like the Dantes model - and I also like the Lago VC , but I can't see how those 2 things could be mixed. Thanks Barry

Funny, because after looking at som reallife pictures of the Twotter I decided to put the s/o gauges back in place, so he can fly while I sleep ;).So I made a modern nav rack in the middle instead. Are you using FS Panel Studio and Photoshop? In that case it's very easy

Eagle,No Im not using panel studio, but if you could tell me what I should replace to get the weather radar in the center, that would be awesome. Thanks

Unfortunately it's not that easy. First, I don't have the weather radar, so I don't know the code. Second, you have to decide how to organize things. I chose to throw out the old nav2 and com2, cause I don't use them much, and I can tune in from the gps. Also I inserted Reality XP sound panel and transponder. With the RG radios at the bottom I filled up the whole rack so that the bitmap was covered by the gauges.Solution 1 (recomended): Get FS Panel Studio and make life easier (very handy tool when you want to place that weather radar somewhere).Solution 2: Use my edited panel.cfg and try to replace that gps with your radar. But then you have to own Sandel EHSI and Flightline T to make it work ...Eagle
