Modules folder

Recommended Posts

Where is the Modules folder in Prepar3Dv4?  I can't find a detailed list of files in P3Dv4.

Thanks,

Tom

It isn't there until something like FSUIPC or something else that installs a module creates it.

I am trying to get the PFCcom64.dll file installed into the FSUIPC folder.

I don't have a clue as to how to do it.  Is there a folder somewhere that has all of the files in Prepar3Dx4 listed so I can move it there?

Thanks,

Tom

You have to install FSUIPC first ( or any other add on that uses the Modules folder) then the folder will be created. THEN you can move your dll into it.

Hi Vic,

I have installed FSUIPC but I can find no way to install the PFC file.  I have no way to copy the file into Prepar3Dv4.

Just drag it into the /modules folder in your P3D root directory

I found it.  I was trying to install the program on my E drive which is high speed. But for whatever reason the main file got installed in the C drive and that is where all of the sub files are.  Does this program automatically install to the C drive or can I direct it to my E drive?

Thanks,

Tom

During the installation process, you are allowed to choose where you wish to install it. If you missed that step, then the program will install to its default location on your C drive (or whichever drive on which your OS resides).

I am having the same problem -- attempting to install a pfc usb yoke -- "jetliner model"  into p3d v4,5, using fsuipc (v6) (windows 10).  Unfortunately, I'm not terribly computer savvy.

Question:  Where do I find a copy of the PFCcom64.dll file?

Regards,

Brian

Please disregard the above question.  I was able to get it sorted out with some advice from Pete Down,
