PMDG_737NGX_2.dll APPCRASH when closing FSX

Recommended Posts

Hopefully someone has some advice for me,

I recently upgraded my NGX to the latest version using Roberts' advice of a clean install. My issue is now when I close FSX I get an APPCRASH message with the fault module name PMDG_737NGX_2.dll.

This did not happen prior to upgrade.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Andrew Dixon

Yes, I am seeing the exact same problem and also found the RAASPro addition to the xml.dll file which I think must be placed there in error.

Hi All,

This is also happening when exiting FSX after using 777X also. PMDG_777X_2.dll is the faulting module on this occasion! Its definitely an issue in FSX following the latest  upgrade.

I have lodged a support ticket regarding this and may I suggest those of you with the same issue do the same.

Thanks

Andrew Dixon

No need. Read the latest announcement thread, it's been acknowledged and will be fixed. Since it doesn't stop you from flying it's not a high priority fix.

It's sounds strange, but I discovered yesterday that I could not find the PMDG 777-300ER Expansion in the FSX aircraft list, even though the PMDG Operations Center reporting ok for the 777-300ER Expansion after udate?
So after reinstall PMDG 777-300ER Expansion the problem with "PMDG_737NGX_2.dll APPCRASH when closing FSX" disappeared!
