Annoying click sound associated with Autobrake

Recommended Posts

Hi! I have downloaded and installed the latest update of 747 and 777-200/300ER.

However, there is an issue of 777-200/300 which is associated with Autobrake.

When I take off, there is a continuous "click" sound after lifting off. It exists until gear up.

I think it's the sound of RTO reverting back to Off.

And, while landing, when gear is down, the click sound appears again and my Autobrake setting revert back to Off by itself (from my setting of the autobrake, eg. autobrake 3)

No only is the click sound annoying but also I cannot use autobrake at all.

The sound persists until I touch down and set autobrake to RTO again!

I have tried to reinstall the 777 twice but the issue persists.

Anyone has the same issue??

Thanks!!

I noticed this too, but attributed it to fs2crew. I did find a workaround for landing though. Use your mouse wheel to "aggressively" rotate the autobrake all the way to max. This will remove the repetitive clicking, and you can normally rotate the knob to the position you need.

Nothing to do with FS2Crew, as I don't have that but I get the clicking. It stops after gear up.

Sorry, perhaps my comment was unclear. When I encountered this issue, I attributed it to fs2crew. I do realize now, it's not related.

You will get more of it when you lower the gear :-)

Thanks for your suggestion! I will try it!!

Was just about to post about this problem.  I can confirm it only started after the sp1 update of the 777.
