Raas crashing my Sim on startup

Recommended Posts

For about the last three days I have had Raas crashing my Prepar3d v4 sim on startup. The first thing I was told was to check

the trouble shooting section of the manual and this was absolutely no help and it didn't address my issue at all. The next thing

somebody mentioned it could be a SODE issue, which is was not. Somebody from FS2Crew told me that I would probably have to

experiment a bit. That is what I really want to hear from tech support. The sad thing is I first bought Raas Pro for 22.46 EUROS and

couldn't use it because of the VAS usage. So now I have invested another 29.95 EUROS and still can't get it to work. But boy have I

been experimenting and I am lucking I didn't experiment right into a complete reinstall. If anybody at FS2Crew is interested in

offering  Tech support, please find inserted  the RAAS PRO LOG. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Yes sir it is.

There's a problem... it's not connecting to the database... your log is cutoff there.

In the RAAS folder in P3D, locate this file:

AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe

Run it again.

Hopefully that will kick something lose on the database reading end.

Bryan, I just submitted another screenshot for support ticket ID NDB-6D3-D694.

It is to show you what I see when I install, looks strange to me. I would of rather

submitted the screenshots in this forum, but what a pain!!!

Hi Bryan,

Sorry I don't know where I got that number, but the correct Ticket tracking ID: is :

R8V-Y67-25R1. Sorry to be such a pain, but I would really like to get this fixed.

Thanks,

Hi Bryan,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have no idea how that happened. I do have another

problem, it won't let me install it because I have a Windows 2007 32 bit Microsoft Office

installed? Do you think once I get everything working and set up I can reinstall Office.

That is probably a real stupid question, but I am really out of my league here.

Thanks again,

Dan McLain

There's must be a conflict with Windows 2007 32 bit Office.

I might suggest getting the latest version of Office 64 bit to avoid the conflict.

Glad you sorted it.

PMDG 737 64 bit version should be soon.

Testers are getting it this week.
