Just outrageous frame rates!

Recommended Posts

Here I am, with the sim visually maxed out...over the South Island of New Zealand, with xEnviro, and all that...and pumping in the high 50's....

The experience, just keeps getting better 'n better...

New Zealand is next on my ortho4xp bucket list!  Those shots just confirmed the decision.

....not the latest and greatest tech, ya know...LOL.  My Tower was purchased in 2011 or so....LOL  Seriously, the best FPS ever, since this latest XP update.  Just keeps climbing it seems, with each release candidate.

Thanks...this Ortho4XP was cut from ARC at zl17/19/2  I was going to redo the entire country with BI(ng) but actually this ARC cut is really growing on me. No post-processing of any kind. I have the entire country captured.

I'm going to leave New Zealand as this ARC cut.

Tasmania is on the Hit List for this weekend 'leave the computer to generate and then self-shut down' deal.  I do a lot of that now....set n' forget....let Ortho4XP shut down the system, when finished. A great feature!

Just add a dash of overlay and that will spice up your frames

I know you knew that already.

Mitch,

O man, your  damned  orthos.

I'm infected since a few days. And it's all your fault. Just ordering harddisks at the great river. Will send you the bill...

Tom

Btw.: Flying with orthos is a completely different animal. Now I understand why orbx withdrew.

I'm addicted to Ortho also. Had to stop using 17 and settle for 16 so I don't fill up the HD. This XPlane is awesome. Just posted my bird strike flameout on take off. Didn't know that was a possibility until it happened. Just blown away after just a few weeks into this. The Zibo 737 is up there with PMDG in its modified state.

New Zealand is added to the bag,...and now eyes towards Australia!

91 tiles for this set, should be done by Sunday night...maybe a creep into Monday morn in the wee hours.....

Going to pay both a visit... :)   BI at zl17/19/2

Yeah...call me an Ortho4XP Addict.  The only other addiction I can identify with, is coffee...so, two aren't too bad!

...and they now say my coffee addiction will ADD a few years to my life...GOOD...I'll need them to enjoy all the square miles of ortho goodness, in my XP 11 scenery arsenal! :))))))

Beautiful shots, joining late to the party due to a recent big hardware update, I'm just about to buy my XP11 copy, and the demo just flies amazing!
